Since I started blogging 10 months ago, my blogs got page rank 4, 3 and 2. Here are some tips, I'll share with you:
1. Do update your blog if possible make post everyday.
2. Blog hop and leave comments to other bloggers sites.
3. Do exchange links with other bloggers especially with those having page ranks.
4. Submit your site to blog directories like blogcatalog, mybloglog...etc so to increase blog stats
5. Place entrecard on your site as this could also help improve blog traffic.
6. And of course love and patience with blogging!

Very true! But there are also other ways to increase your Google Pagerank. But your tip is good!
